Ebbene si. Dopo un lungo periodo di test, l'utente Fox88 ha deciso di concludere il rilascio di eMule 0.51a
versione non ufficiale denominata
Community Version in quanto non verificata da Some Support, ovvero lo sviluppatore a cui fa capo l'eMule-project.
La base su cui nasce questa release è legata ad un lungo lavoro iniziato (e mai concluso) nel 2015 da parte dello stesso Some Support che aveva iniziato a gettare la basi per l'uscita di una "BugFix Release" targata
eMule 0.50b alla quale erano state apportate diverse migliorie nella gestione dello upload (come indicato anche
qui).
E' una versione non ufficiale, quindi dovrebbe essere accreditata tra le Mod, ma in un recentissimo post dello stesso Some Support si è pensato di affiancarla alla "vetusta", ma comunque ancora ben funzionante, 0.50a:
I already talked with fox before. We can't quite make it the official version because fox decides what changes to put in and we aren't verifying them (and don't have the time to do so in most cases neither unfortunately).
However with fox's consent we will (and already do) link the version on our website, additionally to the last official version. So users can choose themselves if they want a more up-to-date version or stick with the latest official one. THe version check will be updated too, but I don't think there will be an update notification for the "community" version. Mhm. Maybe in the future.
